Hey everybody,
Sorry that I’ve been off
the radar for a bit. I’m doing well and working hard here in my new area of La
Fe (the faith). My new companion is Elder V. He is a very good elder with
about 10 months in the mission. This area is huge, but the ward is struggling with
only about 81 members. It would take a good few hours to walk from one end to
the other. But luckily the metro in our area so I now am the proud owner of a Dominican
Republic subway card!
We have two big progressing
investigators. E: she is a middle-aged woman who is very, very, very nice
and is excited about the gospel. She is always giving us juice and should be
getting baptized in the next two weeks. She loves the church and is always
excited to learn new stuff; you could say that the gospel just clicks for her.
A: she is the wife of a
recent convert and is 20 years old and super sassy. It’s hard for us to have
spiritual lessons with her because she is so feisty. She also lives in a house
in a callejon (alley) and so randomly people will walk in to her house in the
middle of lessons and stuff. It’s kind of annoying, but it’s still cool.
Anyway we have a few others
but we are working hard to get more. My comp has been sick for the last couple
of days so that has been tough with the area.
But thank you all for your
prayers and support.
Con amor,
